As men… we were not made to walk alone. The image of hero as a self-made solo macho guy walking into the sunset is neither scriptural or real. Even Hollywood knows – The Lone Ranger had Tonto, the Green Hornet had Kato… and today we have the Avengers! We are stronger together.
Come discover the journey of walking together with other Christian men. As God’s men, as we live out what God intended for brotherhood, we will be amazed what we can do together for His glory!
These 4 monthly sessions were held on 4 Saturday mornings at Zion-Bishan Bible Presbyterian Church in 2017 who kindly hosted the series. Men across over 40 churches participated in these sessions.
This series contains 4 main sessions, accompanied with 4 individual dialogue sessions with the respective speakers. Powerpoint slides and detailed session handouts are also provided. This series falls under the COMMUNITY theme of our MMN resources.
Rev Dr David Wong

Rev (Dr) David Wong was former Senior Pastor of Mount Carmel Bible-Presbyterian Church and Vice-President of Haggai Institute. Dr Wong holds two Master’s degrees in Biblical Studies from the universities of Manchester and of Aberdeen, with his doctoral studies at Fuller Theological Seminary in 2004. He is currently Senior Pastor of Zion Bible Presbyterian Church and an Advisory Council Member of Men’s Ministry Network. Dr Wong has written lyrics to six musicals and a dozen books such “Journeys Beyond the Comfort Zone”, “Make Them Laugh, Help Them Learn” and “Finishing Well: Closing Life’s Significant Chapters”. He is married to Jenny, a trainer in pre-school education, and they have two grown daughters and four grandchildren.
Rev Dr Chua Chung Kai

Reverend Doctor Chua Chung Kai is Associate Pastor of Covenant Evangelical Free Church (Covenant EFC). He serves in the Senior Pastor’s Office, currently directing its Integrated Equipping ministry. Pastor Kai is a gifted teacher of God’s Word, possessing the ability to explain complex ideas in the simplest ways. A medical doctor by training, he subsequently graduated with a Masters in Divinity from the Singapore Bible College in the year 2000. He has been serving as a pastor in Covenant EFC since 1996 and was ordained with the Evangelical Free Church of Singapore in 2004. He is also Chairman of the Evangelical Free Churches of Singapore and a general committee member of the National Council of Churches of Singapore. Pastor Kai is married to Tina and they have three children, John, Joel and Joanne.
Dr Geoff Gorsuch

Dr Geoff Gorsuch Senior Advisor to Men’s Ministry, Navigators and Men’s Ministry Network. Geoff graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1968 and was awarded the Silver Star and 4 Distinguished Flying Crosses as a Vietnam reconnaissance pilot. Geoff serves with the Navigators for over 30 years in the US, France, Africa, Russia and Asia. He was advisor to the Promise Keepers and an executive team member of the National Coalition of Men’s Ministries. Geoff co-authored a book Brothers which has been used to teach pastors about forming thriving men’s small groups. Geoff holds a Bachelor of Science, a Masters and Doctorate in Practical Ministry from the Leadership Institute in Colorado Springs. He and his late wife Diane have two married daughters with 6 grandchildren.
Soo Inn

Since 1985, Soo Inn has been journeying with people through his ministry of preaching/teaching, writing and mentoring. Originally trained as a dentist at the University of Singapore, he answered God’s call to go into full-time church-related ministry in 1981 and obtained his Master of Theology from Regent College, Vancouver, Canada, in 1984. In 2006, he obtained his Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary, California. His primary passions include connecting the Word of God to the struggles of daily life, and the promotion of the discipline of spiritual friendship especially among men. He has been a supporter of Arsenal Football Club since 1971 and his favourite movie is Star Wars 4.
