Men’s Ministry Network (MMN) is a relational network of pastors and key church leaders committed to “ministries to men” to enhance men’s discipleship in our local churches.
Every church discipling every man in every season of his life.
Men’s discipleship through “ministries to men” in our churches.
Engage, resource and unite men’s ministries with catalytic platforms, strategic consultations and tailored equipping to facilitate “ministries to men” within the distinctive context of each local church for a men’s movement to transform our nation.
The vision of such a network was seeded in 2010, following the 3rd Annual Men’s Conference organised by Men-in-Covenant (MiC), the men’s ministry of Covenant Evangelical Free Church. Entitled “Every Man A Son”, Dr Josh McDowell was the keynote speaker at this milestone men’s conference which was sponsored by seven organisations (including churches, men’s ministries and parachurches). This was one of the largest men’s conferences in Singapore as it saw 1,600 men from various denominations across 136 churches participating. The momentum continued into 2011, with 24 organisations participating in MiC’s 4th Annual Men’s Conference co-sponsored by The Navigators, with Dr Jerry White, International President Emeritus, as the conference speaker. The Network sees more than 30 churches, men’s ministries and parachurches endorsing our mission.
Following an inaugural meeting in July 2010, MMN was formally launched on 13 May 2011. We were greatly privileged to have Dr Jerry White (Emeritus International President, The Navigators) grace the occasion as our guest speaker in a closed-door dialogue. The event was attended by more than 100 pastors and key lay leaders across 60 churches, men’s ministries and Christian organisations.
Today, the Men’s Ministry Network sees more than 30 churches, men’s ministries and parachurches endorsing our mission. We organise conferences, discussion forums and also provide a wealth of digital resources to equip and empower Christian men. It is led by a Steering Committee comprising pastors and key lay leaders from different local churches and organisations, and overseen by an Advisory Council.
